Westmoreland White Milk Glass Candle Holder Paneled Grape, Grape Leaf
This Beautiful Candle Holder is made of Heavy White Milk Glass by the Westmoreland Glass company. It is the Paneled Grape Pattern. The base is scalloped with a grapevine encircling the piece. A beautiful fluted column rises to the double ring at the top. This is White Milk Glass is the perfect centerpiece on your table, accent for a smaller table, or even turned upside down as a candy dish!!!!
The Maker's Mark, "W inside a "G" was used in the 1950s and 60s.
Westmoreland was known to use primarily two marks on their products. The first mark was a "W" found inside of a Keystone which can be found from the period of 1910 through the mid 1940s. The second mark, which is the more commonly known by collectors and dealers, is the intertwined W and G that Westmoreland began to use in 1946 on most of the glassware.
Very good condition. No nicks, dings, cracks or breaks. Please see photos for condition of the candle Holder. This candle Holder has a manufacturer's defect where the Grape Leaf pattern is not fully embossed due to Factory Molds. The price reflects the defect!!! Please see photographs for condition of the piece!!!
